I first met Carol Lamb on 17th February 2001 when I booked in with her for an energy alignment therapy appointment. I was already aware of her reputation as a healer; that since childhood she had been able to spontaneously access her past life memories and that in her work as a soul recall therapist she helped her clients to do the same. That appointment changed the course of my life.
It quickly became clear to me that this remarkable woman was, without doubt, the wisest person I had ever met. Her experiences as a therapist, combined with her highly attuned ability to access higher realms of consciousness, gave her a unique insight into the journey of the soul and the metaphysics of health. She devoted much of her time to passing on this understanding through seminars and training courses, all of which I, and many others, eagerly attended.
At the time of my first meeting with Carol, she had already opened healing and training centres to provide a base for herself and for the therapy practices that were being established by those she had trained. In the years since, many of these students have gone on to open their own centres where they continue to offer therapies and training courses. The primary focus of Carol’s work during this time has been to pass on her spiritual and metaphysical understanding to a much wider audience through books, radio broadcasts, educational films and research papers and I have been privileged to have been a member of the spiritual group which she established to assist her in these ventures. These publications and broadcasts showcase a depth of spiritual understanding and wisdom which very few on this planet can match. Indeed her autobiography, ‘Born Remembering’ is essential reading for anyone with questions about the nature and purpose of life.
It has been my great fortune to have spent many, many hours in Carol’s company. I’ve had the benefit of her support, guidance and friendship over the years but perhaps the greatest fortune of all was to have met her at a time when I felt I was becoming overwhelmed by the difficulties in my life. The renowned yogi Paramahansa Yogananda, who introduced millions of Indians and westerners to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga, once stated that “When you are moving blindly through the valley of life, stumbling in darkness, you need the help of someone who has eyes. You need a guru.” Carol has been, and remains, my guru.
